Immunefi has announced it will migrate Code4rena's bounty programs, reward structures, and security researchers onto its own platform following Code4rena's shutdown decision. The move consolidates two of the more recognizable names in smart contract security auditing under a single roof.
Code4rena had raised $6 million from Paradigm in 2023 before being acquired by Zellic the following year. Its closure narrows the competitive field in decentralized bug bounty infrastructure, leaving Immunefi as the dominant venue for protocol security researchers seeking structured reward programs.
For DeFi protocols currently running programs on Code4rena, the migration path reduces disruption — existing reward structures are expected to carry over rather than requiring a full rebuild on the new platform.
