Crypto analyst Michael van de Poppe is calling Hyperliquid and AI-linked tokens as the front-runners of the next altcoin cycle, citing a clear rotation back into higher-risk assets. HYPE hit a new all-time high following the launch of two U.S.-listed HYPE ETFs, and van de Poppe sees a path to $100 or more if broader market appetite holds. European traders are increasingly routing through Hyperliquid as perpetual futures access remains restricted on many regulated venues across the continent.
On AI tokens, van de Poppe argued that projects like NEAR and Bittensor are deeply undervalued relative to traditional AI companies. He flagged NEAR's projected revenue growth from roughly $10 million to as much as $100 million this year as a catalyst, and said Bittensor's subnet expansion could justify a $1,000–$2,000 price range under continued adoption.
